A personal space to talk.

Hi, I’m Mark Palmer, an integrative counsellor with a person-centred core approach. I believe that feeling truly heard, understood, and accepted can help people begin to make sense of what they are carrying.

My journey into counselling began through my own experiences with mental health struggles, which gave me a deeper understanding of how important it is to have a safe and supportive space to talk openly without judgement. That experience continues to shape the way I work with clients today - with empathy, honesty, and compassion.

I offer a calm, professional, and approachable environment where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at a pace that feels manageable. As an integrative counsellor, I adapt the work to the person in front of me rather than using one fixed way of working.

I have three years of counselling experience, I am ASIST trained, and as someone who is also ADHD diagnosed, I bring both professional training and lived understanding to my work with neurodiversity and mental health challenges.

Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply looking for support, I aim to provide a space where you feel respected, supported, and able to be yourself.

You do not need to arrive with everything sorted.

The first step can be a simple enquiry. You might know exactly what you want to talk about, or you might only know that something feels hard to carry on your own.

Counselling can be a place to slow things down, hear yourself more clearly, and notice what has been affecting your day-to-day life. Life coaching can also support practical reflection around choices, goals, and next steps.
